I do not use Net Radio on my Encore, so never sought the functionallity to update the stations, but after a mains off/on cycle I always see the Encore do a Radio search....

Thanks....yes i see it doing a radio search but it comes up with the same stations, some of which don't work, anmd doesn;t come up with known popular sations that I know do work. I have a query into BeoCare but no sensible response as yet....

I'm considering getting an Encore. How do you guys create playlists? I know tracks be added to playlists one-by-one on the navigation wheel, but that is cumbersome, especially when editing playlists. So, can the Encore read pre-existing playlists from music servers (in M3U format?). For me, the Encore would be the perfect music machine, but only if it can read playlists.

Beocare have solved the radio station issue for me. Apparently B&O maintain a data base for the Beosound 5 Encore which is manually updated on request. They ask for the country, name and URL of the staion on Tune In, and then they can add it to the data base... Once this is done, a complete power off and reboot of the Encore, enables the new stations. It took a while, but we are there now.  

Hello, Any idea how to display the radio stations Logo on beosound encore again ?, for some reason I lost them. and also if anybody can advise me how to get the latest firmware update file, my software rev is 1.216 Thank you

Dear John, The Beosound 5 Encore doesn't show any logo's for the radio stations, only the name. (As far as I know it never did). On the Beosound 5 + BM5 and the Beosound Moment the radio logo's are shown. You can force the update of the last firmware manualy or automatic. This is done in the settings menu. Mode-> Settings-> Maintenance -> Update software. The latest firmware version on my Beosound 5 Encore is; 1.3.8 Build date 10-Sep-2012. Hope this helps
