Many years ago I had a pair of Beolab 2500s that were made around 1996 or so.  I am now using a pair that date from 1991, and notice that the relay is quite a bit louder when the system turns on or off. Looking at the original service manual, it states the 24v relay is #7600069 -- and I see that dksoundparts has a replacement part available. Not knowing that much about relays, I was wondering whether modern ones are quieter in general -- or if it's a function of improper mounting, current passing through, or something else? Thanks for any thoughts...
